At 6:00 PM we meet at a marina near Phuket (25 minutes from the airport by taxi). We board the catamaran, settle into our cabins, unpack, and get to know the crew and each other. The captain gives a short briefing – how life on board works, where to go, and what’s allowed and not.
In the evening, we head ashore to a cozy waterfront restaurant for a light dinner, the sound of the waves, and our first conversations about what this tropical journey will be like. It’s just the beginning, but you can already feel that we’ve stepped out of everyday life.
